Q. When can I start?
You can start from any available spot in the booking calendar. Survival Japanese course can only be started from Lesson 1
Q. How long is a class?
10 one-hour sessions for Survival Japanese
30 min for a Conversation session
Q. Where are the lessons hosted?
All sessions are hosted via Zoom. You will receive a Zoom link after signing up for a session
Q. What do I need when taking lessons?

Fast internet to talk and watch shared screen on Zoom

Q. Who do I group with in the group lesson?
Any beginners who are interested in traveling to Japan/want to use Japanese in their trip to Japan
Q. How many students are in a group?
Up to 10 students per group
Q. How do I check my schedule?
You can log in to your account on this website then go to "My Booking" to see your schedule
Q. What do I do if the lessons are full?
Please wait until the next available spot opens. We open our spots about 2 months ahead of time
Q. How much are the lessons?

$25/session for the group lesson

$50/session for the private lesson
(purchase the plan here) -
$35/session for Conversation session (there is a $10 discount for those who completed Survival Japanese course)
Cancelletion Policy
Refund/cancel policy
You can cancel with a full refund 24 hours before your first session. Cancellation made within 24 hours is eligible for a half refund, but any cancellation made within 1 hour is not eligible for any refund

When is the payment due date?
Please make the payment when booking a lesson
Can I switch the lesson time?
No, please stick with the day/time you selected. You are allowed to make up for a class if you need to change your lesson time.
Can I make up for a lesson?
We understand that things come up out of nowhere. You can make up for a lesson ONCE, but you must contact your tutor ahead of time.
Can I take a break in between classes?
No, you must take 10 consecutive sessions for group sessions but you are allowed to make up for a class if something comes up along the way
"Repeat-a-class” discount?
We recommend taking our Conversation session after completing a Survival Japanese course. You are eligible for a $10 discount/session once completing the course.
